Getting TEDx speakers stage-ready

The challenge
Speakers for a TEDx event at Erasmus University College had strong ideas and little time to turn them into talks that hold a room.
What we did
A booster session on building a speech with the five canons of rhetoric and the rhetorical triangle, then body language and voice. Every speaker gave a 2-minute practice talk and got feedback on the spot.

Make us care in 90 seconds

The challenge
Honours students needed to turn research and personal experience into stories people want to hear.
What we did
A storytelling workshop on the core elements of a story and how to deliver one: attention, body language, voice and connecting with the audience. Each student drafted and delivered a 60–90 second story.
